Ann Marie Santos “Sing a Song with Passion” is her debut CD in the US. Ann’s love for music began as a child. Her father was a composer, arranger and jazz pianist and her mother was a well-known jazz singer. Being in a musical environment has nurtured the passion for music that Ann has today. In her teens, she gained numerous achievements such as the prestigious Star Search of Asia Awards. She was invited to perform in Asia as one of the ASEAN Artist from the Philippines. She also signed with Black Gold and Villar Records where she recorded her compositions.
Every musical project begins as a challenge and this project is no exception.
Being an established piano and vocal coach, Ann had dedicated her time to sharing her passion for music. When she decided to record and develop her own album, she knew it would be a daunting task in itself but Ann’s many friends, supporters, and musicians inspired her just to do it.

The San Francisco Filipino Jazz has featured her at concerts over the past few years, the most notable being the San Francisco Parade at the Yerba Buena Gardens and the Jazz History Month Celebration. She began to network performing at Yoshi’s, The Scottish-Rite Theatre, Savanna Jazz and many other
clubs in the San Francisco/Bay Area, and to build a fan base.

Talent begets talent and the collaboration in this project is proof that Ann has brought together the crème of the crème of first class musicians in the Bay Area. On top of that list is Musical Director Mr. Dionisio “Boy” Palacio. Ann and Boy created exceptional arrangements of standards like, “You Don’t Know What Love is”, Love For Sale”, “Cry Me a River” and “Lover Man” to name a few. Her original compositions entitled “I Was Only Dreaming” and “Come Back To Me” shows off here versatility and talented genes.
